April 23, 2022: Chicago Heights, IL 60411 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL), by a margin of 8-1.
With the triumph, Bloom moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Blazing Trojan host Thornwood (South Holland, IL) to play the Thunderbirds in a SICA - South contest on Tuesday, April 26. The Thunderbirds come into the contest with a record of 0-3. Thornwood lost 10-2 in their recent league contest against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL)
In their next game, the Cardinals play the Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban contest, on Monday, April 25. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 9-6 league loss to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
