New York High School Softball - Bloomfield bounces Midlakes
April 23, 2022: Clifton Springs, NY 14432 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Bloomfield Bombers (Bloomfield, NY) and the host Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY), saw Bloomfield's softball squad achieve victory over Midlakes by a count of 11-2.
The Bombers now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Jacket for a Finger Lakes West match on Monday, April 25. Bloomfield will face a Indians squad coming off a 22-2 league loss to Dundee (Dundee, NY). The Indians record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Midlakes falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Screaming eagles travel to Wayne (Ontario Center, NY) to face the Eagles in a Finger Lakes East match on Friday, April 29. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-1. Wayne won 16-0 in their recent league match against Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY)
