April 23, 2022: Le Grand, CA 95333 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Le Grand Bulldogs (Le Grand, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Esparto Spartans (Esparto, CA), by a margin of 9-1.
With the triumph, Le Grand moves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Orestimba (Newman, CA) to play the Warriors in a Southern Athletic League contest on Wednesday, April 27. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 14-6. Orestimba lost 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA)
In their next game, the Spartans play the Woodland Christian Cardinals (Woodland, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 26. Esparto will attempt to move on its 4-16 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 15-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Foresthill (Foresthill, CA).
