April 23, 2022: Laurel, DE 19956 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) and the visiting Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE), saw Laurel's softball squad nip Sussex Central by a count of 6-5.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Smyrna for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 26.
With the loss, Sussex Central falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Golden knights host Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 26. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 2-1.
