Illinois High School Softball - St. Bede bounces Monmouth-Roseville
April 23, 2022: Monmouth, IL 61462 St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kewanee for a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, April 25. St. Bede will face a Boilermakers squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Orion (Orion, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Monmouth-Roseville falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to face the Rockets in a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, April 25. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 15-0. Rockridge won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Bede (Peru, IL)
