Connecticut High School Softball - Norwalk bounces Pomperaug
April 23, 2022: Southbury, CT 06488 Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 14-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bridgeport Central for a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, April 25. Norwalk will battle a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Pomperaug falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT) to battle the Cougars in a Southwest - Patriot challenge on Monday, April 25. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Kolbe-Cathedral won 22-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bassick (Bridgeport, CT)
