April 23, 2024: Emporia, KS 66801 The Emporia Spartans baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Independent Panthers to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Iola (Iola, KS). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 12-7 record. In their last match, Iola gained a win over Parsons (Parsons, KS), 11-4, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (0-13) will now prepare for their match against Chaparral (Anthony, KS). The Roadrunners go into the non-league match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Chaparral was overwhelmed by Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS), 3-1, in a league match.
