Maryland High School Lacrosse - Northwood overwhelms Seneca Valley
April 23, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20901 The Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD), 13-2 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD) to encounter the Wildcats in a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game on Thursday, April 25. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 5-1. Walter Johnson won 14-0 in their recent league game against Einstein (Kensington, MD)
The Screamin' Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Falcons enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Poolesville was overwhelmed by Damascus (Damascus, MD), 17-3, in a league game.
