In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds baseball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Argo Argonauts.

The Thunderbirds (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Morgan Park (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Morgan Park nudged Brooks (Chicago, IL), 10-0, in a league game.

Next, the Argonauts play the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) in a South Suburban - Blue game, on Thursday, April 24. Argo will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 2-10 record after their 13-0 league loss to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL).
