April 23, 2025: New London, NC 28127 The North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) baseball the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Comets now own a 21-0 record. They take the field next when they host Andrews for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. North Stanly will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Camden (Camden, NY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-5.
With the defeat, Georgetown drops to 9-12 on the year. The Bulldogs host Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY) to clash with the Stanners in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Stanners go into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Archbishop Molloy lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Conway (Conway, SC)
