Illinois High School Soccer - Freshman Opponent knocks off Proviso East
April 23, 2025: Maywood, IL 60153 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Freshman Opponent soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Proviso East Pirates.
The (5-15) will now prepare for their outing against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Colts enter the non-league outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Crossroads Christian tipped Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 28. Proviso East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
