April 23, 2025: Elizabeth, CO 80107 Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Falcon Falcons (Falcon, CO), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Elizabeth moves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Scorpions in a 4A/3A CSML North test on Monday, April 28. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 2-11.
The Falcons now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo Central for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. Falcon will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Rye (Rye, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
