New Hampshire High School Lacrosse - Portsmouth can't hold off Derryfield
April 23, 2025: Portsmouth, NH 03801 Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Portsmouth Clippers (Portsmouth, NH), 7-6 in a league game.
With the victory, Derryfield advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Cougars host Timberlane (Plaistow, NH) to play the Owls in a Division II game on Friday, April 25. The Owls come into the game with a record of 4-0. Timberlane won 10-9 in their recent league game against St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH)
The Clippers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spaulding for a Division II game on Friday, April 25. Portsmouth will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 9-4 league loss to Alvirne (Hudson, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-5.
