Illinois High School Lacrosse - Marist sneaks past Lyons
April 23, 2025: Chicago, IL 60655 Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), witnessed Marist's lacrosse squad hold off Lyons by a count of 7-6.
The RedHawks (4-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Shamrocks enter the test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, St. Patrick was nipped by Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL), 15-1, in a non-league test.
Next, the Lions battle the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 26. Lyons will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Wildkits enter the test with a 5-2 record after their 8-7 league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
