New Jersey High School Softball - Butler tipped by St. Mary
April 23, 2025: Rutherford, NJ 07070 St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Butler, NJ), 5-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Mary improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Gaels travel to Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ) to play the Indians in a NJIC - National game on Friday, April 25. The Indians enter the game with a record of 7-2. Weehawken won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Wallington (Wallington, NJ)
The Bulldogs now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham for a non-league game on Thursday, April 24. Butler will play a Cougars squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 5-6.
