Illinois High School Softball - Salt Fork bounces Chrisman
April 23, 2025: Chrisman, IL 61924 The Salt Fork Storm softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Chrisman Cardinals to 0 in the Storm league win on Wednesday.
The Storm (14-3) will now prepare for their match against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets come into the Vermilion Valley match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Oakwood notched a victory over Heritage (Broadlands, IL), 14-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) in a Vermilion Valley match, on Friday, April 25. Chrisman will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Buffaloes come into the match with a 2-11 record after their 13-0 league loss to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL).
