In Wednesday's league match, the host Edgewood Warriors softball team scored a tight 7-1 win over the Madison Blue Streaks.

The Warriors (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH). The Falcons come into the Chagrin Valley - Lake match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Jefferson Area nipped Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH), 16-0, in a league match.
