The Ridley Raiders softball squad (Folsom, PA), was edged 4-3 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA)

With the triumph, Marple Newtown improves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Fightin' Tigers travel to Haverford (Havertown, PA) to face the Fords in a Central contest on Monday, April 28. The Fords enter the contest with a record of 10-4. Haverford won 9-0 in their recent league contest against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA)

The Raiders now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Interboro for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 26. Ridley will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Chichester (Boothwyn, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 10-2.
