In Thursday's league bout, the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) baseball squad the host Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), by a tally of 8-5.

Next up, the Crusaders encounter the Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 25. Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 13-4 record after their 11-2 league win over Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA).
