The Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA) baseball trounced the host Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), 26-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Hurricanes now own a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manor for a non-league test on Monday, April 27. Heritage will play a Mustangs team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Norcom drops to 2-10 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA) to play the Truckers in a Eastern test on Friday, April 24. The Truckers go into the test with a record of 6-2. Churchland won 21-1 in their recent league test against Norview (Norfolk, VA)
