April 23, 2026: Cairo, MO 65239 The Northeast Bearcats baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Monroe City Panthers to 1 in the Bearcats non-league win on Thursday.
The Bearcats now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Moberly for a non-league test on Friday, April 24.
With the defeat, Monroe City drops to 5-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, April 27. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 9-3. Camp Point Central won 7-1 in their recent league test against Seymour (Payson, IL)
