The St. John Heralds baseball squad (Ashtabula, OH), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH)

With the triumph, Poland Seminary moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to confront the Raiders in a Northeast 8 Athletic contest on Friday, April 24. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 3-7. South Range lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Struthers (Struthers, OH)

The Heralds now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conneaut for a non-league contest on Friday, April 24. St. John will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 11-7 league win over Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 3-8.
