Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL), 9-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Robinson upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Maroons travel to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL) to play the Braves in a non-league game on Saturday, April 25. The Braves enter the game with a record of 10-9. Mt. Zion won 13-2 in their recent league game against Charleston (Charleston, IL)

The Tigers now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Charleston for a non-league game on Monday, April 27. Richland County will play a Trojans squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 7-9.
