The Shelton Gaels prevailed the visiting Oxford Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's league test.

The Gaels now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amity Regional for a South-West test on Monday, April 26. Shelton will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.

The Wolverines (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers enter the South-West test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Pomperaug dropped by Cheshire (Cheshire, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.
