The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) and the host Seymour Owls (Seymour, IN), saw Decatur Central's softball squad nip Seymour by a count of 7-4.

The Hawks now sport a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Plainfield for a Mid-State match on Tuesday, April 27. Decatur Central will face a Quakers squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, IN). The Quakers record now stands at 4-7.
