Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Tigers now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop McCort for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 24. Hollidaysburg will battle a Crushers squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Crushers record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Portage falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host United (Armagh, PA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 24. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. United won 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA)
