Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Exeter Township Eagles (Reading, PA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Greyhounds now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boiling Springs for a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Monday, April 25.

With the loss, Exeter Township falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hamburg (Hamburg, PA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25.
