April 24, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21286 DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, DeMatha upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Stags host Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC) to battle the Lions in a Washington Catholic test on Tuesday, April 25. The Lions come into the test with a record of 8-15. Archbishop Carroll lost 5-1 in their recent league test against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA)
With the defeat, Calvert Hall falls to 12-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD) to battle the Saints in a MIAA A test on Wednesday, April 26. The Saints come into the test with a record of 5-10. St. Mary's lost 12-3 in their recent non-league test against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD)
