Maryland High School Baseball - Mountain Ridge loses to Catoctin
April 24, 2023: Frostburg, MD 21532 The Catoctin Cougars crushed the host Mountain Ridge Miners baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brunswick for a CMC bout on Wednesday, April 26. Catoctin will face a Railroaders team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Railroaders record now stands at 5-8.
Next, the Miners face the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 27. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 10-8 record after their 15-9 league win over Keyser (Keyser, WV).
