April 24, 2023: Franklin, OH 45005 The Franklin Wildcats nudged the visiting Valley View Spartans baseball team by a tally of 11-10 in Monday's league bout.
The Wildcats now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe for a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern bout on Tuesday, April 25. Franklin will face a Hornets team coming off a 7-2 league win over Brookville (Brookville, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 11-4.
Next, the Spartans face the Madison Mohawks (Middletown, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 26. Valley View will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Mohawks enter the bout with a 1-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Eaton (Eaton, OH).
