April 24, 2023: New Holland, PA 17557 The Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA) volleyball overcame the visiting Schuylkill Valley Panthers (Leesport, PA), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Garden Spot upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Spartans host Ephrata (Ephrata, PA) to face the Mountaineers in a Lancaster Lebanon Section Two outing on Tuesday, April 25. The Mountaineers go into the outing with a record of 5-7. Ephrata won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lebanon (Lebanon, PA)
The Panthers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Antietam for a Berks County outing on Tuesday, April 25. Schuylkill Valley will face a Mountaineers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kutztown (Kutztown, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 9-9.
