Illinois High School Lacrosse - Plainfield North drops to Waubonsie Valley
April 24, 2023: Aurora, IL 60504 Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 11-7 in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naperville North for a DuPage Valley battle on Wednesday, April 26. Waubonsie Valley will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 7-2.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Thursday, April 27. Plainfield North will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 12-5 non-league win over Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL).
