Washington High School Soccer - Ferndale knocks off Nooksack Valley
April 24, 2023: Ferndale, WA 98248 Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 6-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, April 27. Ferndale will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 7-0 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA).
The Pioneers now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Wednesday, April 26. Nooksack Valley will confront a Borderites team coming off a 4-0 league win over Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 3-1.
