Illinois High School Softball - Holy Trinity bounces Christ the King
April 24, 2023: Chicago, IL 60622 Holy Trinity Tigers (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL), 9-4 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Latin for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. Holy Trinity will face a Romans squad coming off a 26-14 league loss to Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL). The Romans record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Christ the King falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL) to face the Broncos in a Chicago Prep challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 12-2. Walther Christian Academy won 22-5 in their recent league challenge against Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL)
