Illinois High School Softball - Dunbar can't get by Hyde Park
April 24, 2023: Chicago, IL 60616 In Monday's league contest, the Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) softball team held off the host Dunbar Mightymen (Chicago, IL), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Hyde Park moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Perspectives Leadership/Technology (Chicago, IL) to play the Warriors in a Chicago Public Yellow contest on Monday, May 1. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 5-1.
In their next game, the Mightymen play the Carver Challengers (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Yellow contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Dunbar will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Challengers come into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 23-2 league win over Phillips (Chicago, IL).
