April 24, 2024: Oneida, IL 61467 The Farmington Farmers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars to 7 in the Farmers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Farmers (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Bombers come into the Prairieland challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Macomb got by Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL), 22-4, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, ROWVA/Williamsfield falls to 9-12 on the season. The Cougars travel to Princeville (Princeville, IL) to encounter the Princes in a Lincoln Trail challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Princes come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Princeville won 10-3 in their recent league challenge against Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL)
