April 24, 2024: Blue Island, IL 60406 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) and the host Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL), saw Andrew's volleyball squad beat Blue Island Eisenhower by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Andrew upgrades its record to 9-12 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to play the Griffins in a Southwest Suburban bout on Thursday, April 25. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Lincoln-Way East won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
The Cardinals now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to Tinley Park for a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, April 30.
