Washington High School Softball - Lynden bounces Anacortes
April 24, 2024: Lynden, WA 98264 Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nooksack Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Lynden will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Anacortes falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Ferndale (Ferndale, WA) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-3.
