The Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) lacrosse tipped the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 9-8 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Bishop Ireton upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to battle the Eagles in a Washington Catholic outing on Friday, April 26. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 9-5. Gonzaga lost 11-10 in their recent non-league outing against Landon (Bethesda, MD)
