Illinois High School Lacrosse - Hampshire can't get by Geneva
April 24, 2024: Hampshire, IL 60140 In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Geneva Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-13 victory over the Hampshire Whip-Purs.
The Vikings now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mundelein for a non-league test on Saturday, April 27. Geneva will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.
In their next game, the Whip-Purs face the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) in a Fox Valley test, on Thursday, April 25. Hampshire will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 3-8 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
