North Carolina High School Softball - Southern Alamance bounces Apex
April 24, 2024: Apex, NC 27502 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) and the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), witnessed Southern Alamance's softball squad tip Apex by a count of 15-11.
The Patriots now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Orange for a Central 3A match on Friday, April 26. Southern Alamance will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-15 non-league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Apex moves to 12-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to face the Mustangs in a Southwest Wake 4A match on Friday, April 26. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 7-10. Middle Creek won 17-3 in their recent league match against Cary (Cary, NC)
