Rhode Island High School Softball - Cumberland bounces Moses Brown
April 24, 2024: Providence, RI 02906 The Cumberland Clippers routed the host Moses Brown Quakers softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Clippers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Patriots go into the Division 1 (State) battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Pilgrim notched a victory over St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI), 4-1, in a league battle.
The Quakers now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cranston West for a Division 1 (State) battle on Friday, April 26. Moses Brown will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 5-2.
