New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Rams now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilton for a Fairfield County challenge on Friday, April 26. New Canaan will face a Warriors squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Greenwich falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Staples (Westport, CT) to face the Wreckers in a Fairfield County challenge on Friday, April 26. The Wreckers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
