April 24, 2024: Whittemore, MI 48770 Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Capac for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. Whittemore-Prescott will battle a Chiefs squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to Ubly (Ubly, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-1.
