Washington High School Softball - Ocosta bounces Taholah
April 24, 2024: Westport, WA 98595 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Ocosta Wildcats (Westport, WA) and the visiting Taholah Chitwhins (Taholah, WA), saw Ocosta's softball squad achieve victory over Taholah by a count of 19-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Forks for a 2B Pacific match on Friday, April 26. Ocosta will face a Spartans squad coming off a 20-5 league win over North Beach (Ocean Shores, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Taholah falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Chitwhins host Wishkah Valley (Aberdeen, WA) to face the Loggers in a 1B Coastal match on Monday, April 29. The Loggers enter the match with a record of 1-3. Wishkah Valley won 34-7 in their recent non-league match against Pope John Paul II (Lacey, WA)
