The High Point Eagles baseball team scored 27 runs and held the visiting Bladensburg Mustangs to 5 in the Eagles league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwestern for a Prince George's County 4A test on Monday, April 28. High Point will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Eastern (Washington, DC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, Bladensburg drops to 0-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD) to clash with the Panthers in a Prince George's County 4A test on Friday, April 25.
