Illinois High School Baseball - St. Laurence prevails Carmel
April 24, 2025: Mundelein, IL 60060 The St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) baseball trounced the host Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), 20-11 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanover Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. St. Laurence will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 20-5 league win over Highland (Highland, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-2.
With the defeat, Carmel drops to 8-9 on the year. The Corsairs travel to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Saturday, April 26. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Marian Catholic lost 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
