The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) and the visiting Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL), saw Watseka's baseball team gain a win over Grant Park by a tally of 17-5.

The Warriors (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Blue Devils enter the Vermilion Valley battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin defeated Armstrong (Armstrong, IL), 10-6, in a league battle.
