April 24, 2025: Salem, MO 65560 The Salem Tigers (Salem, MO) baseball got by the visiting Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plato for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. Salem will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Summersville (Summersville, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 6-11.
With the defeat, Liberty drops to 8-8 on the year. The Eagles host Thayer (Thayer, MO) to clash with the Bobcats in a Class 3 District 10 challenge on Monday, April 28. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Thayer lost 12-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Ava (Ava, MO)
