The Serra Catholic Eagles baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Riverview Raiders to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now hold a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Canevin for a WPIAL 1A 3 test on Monday, April 28. Serra Catholic will play a Crusaders team coming off a 18-5 league win over Clairton (Clairton, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Riverview drops to 14-3 on the year. The Raiders host Leechburg (Leechburg, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 10-2.
